Fan-Fold Box Maker (FFM) is designed to make large quantities of custom corrugated containers from fan-fold material. With the FFM's standard 5 heads, it can run boxes up to 32 feet long in one pass. With a production speed up to 325 boxes per hour, the FFM's versatile programming, accessible through a colorful 10.5-inch color touch screen, allows the FFM to re-create specific package designs whenever you need them: 33 box styles, and 3000 combinations of dimensions can be stored in memory. Extra in-feed drive rolls pre-feed fan-fold material. The Fan-Fold Box Maker is equipped with longer in-feed and out-feed tables. For boxes that are long and stackable, with customized box blanks produced from fan-fold material, the Fan-Fold Box Makers are available in 60 and 86 inch widths.
Operation of the Fan-Fold Box Maker
To set up the box styles and inner packaging, you just enter your selection at the touch screen, then select an icon that represents a box blank style of your choice. The Fan-Fold Box Maker leads you, step by step, through the entire process of choosing dimensions, quantity, and tabs for every style. Long containers for extrusions, or doublewide boxes, are only a touch or two away. The touch screen automatically prompts when to start feeding sheets of material. Excess board, trimmed off during production, can be reused to make additional boxes, and environmentally friendly inner packaging such as bins, dividers, and pads. The FFM's quick change blade can be replaced in 10 seconds. Fan-Fold Box Maker offers telephone support and technical assistance for the lifetime of the machine. In addition, the FFM parts and labor warranty provides coverage for one year, or 500,000 boxes.
